the recently popular manga/anime Zom 100 is mostly a zombie apocalypse story in the normal modern world but the manga later adds this ram headed android butler as a major character?????? I haven’t gotten into this series but I’ll bet people going blind into its anime are just not gonna know what the hell to think if it incorporates this plot point.
Like you’d think this would happen in an anime called something like “I’m in a zombie
apocalypse but I have this crazy robot furry butler” but no he shows up 20 chapters in and is just another member of the team I guess??? It sounds like if The Walking Dead suddenly decided to include a time traveling wizard or a samurai gorilla and somehow that was just an accepted side character rather than something that should logically hijack the entire narrative focus. I’m not saying I disagree with any of this but I am saying there’s no way I’d be mentally prepared for it if I was just a regular zombie apocalypse anime fan.
